Komang's Story

Pearls are a universal symbol of femininity but who helps unveil the mystery of a pearls creation? Komang, a Balinese woman from a humble background, had few opportunities but great talent and a rich heritage in Balinese culture. Her skill, courage and determination saw her become an expert in the art of seeding for pearls. She has worked all over Indonesia and Australia as a recognized leader in her field.
